I visited The Fireplace the week it opened and I've been back many many times since, never with anything less than super-attentive and friendly service and amazing food.
This is a lovely neighborhood restaurant. It's perfect for celebrating a special event or when you want to feel special. I love knowing the Fireplace is just a few T stops away. Char K
I'm a huge fan of the Fireplace for many reasons. It's perfect for any occasion whether it's a romantic dinner, family gathering, a few drinks and apps at the bar while listening to live Jazz with friends or Sunday brunch. Delicious menu, impeccable service, affordable prices, free parking, cozy yet elegant atmosphere...what more can you ask for? In addition to that, the owner Jim Solomon always makes us feel so welcome every time I'm at the Fireplace with family, friends or business partners. Needless to say, Fireplace is my top dining destination!
The Fireplace Restaurant in Brookline has a great vibe (yes, it's got a fireplace!). Great modern New England fare and live jazz and latin music on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Recommended for a nice date or a casual get-together with friends.
I love love this restaurant. The menu is creative and there is a fabulous twist on some traditional items making it a very desirable destination. The staff is welcoming and efficient. I can't wait to return. Barbara R.
I absolutely love the Fireplace. The atmosphere is cozy/elegant and the food is always delicious. I got the salmon and loved it's interesting sides. I and am already planning my return trip!
Very romantic. This is a great date spot. Parking is pretty easy too.
My wife and I decided to have a Washington Square night. Start at Fireplace, get some pastries at Athans, then head over to Publick House. Fireplace is just UNREAL. It never ceases to blow me away. We both had the half-chicken, their signature dish. I've been dreaming of it since. Started with the mussels - oh man, that broth? Fireplace is just insane - in my top 5 favorite restaurants in the greater Boston area. A special place indeed. Jim Solomon has done a great job.
