Paul's Food Center is just what your looking for and more! If you find yourself in the downtown Portland, Me area and need anything from a few items to a full basket of groceries, PFC is your place. They've been in business there for over 30 years, and operated as Shaw's (the original store) for over 100 years before that. The owner, you guessed it... Paul, still goes in to grind hamburg, cut steaks and stay involved in a business that continues to thrive. The eldery clinetelle, many of whom have been shopping here on a meal-to-meal basis for longer than they'd care to admit, wouldn't trade this place for the fanciest super store anywhere... and neither would I. PFC is what Portland, ME and many other "Downtwons" are all about. Its good, hard working people providing for their community the same way it did over 100 years ago.
